フルックはアイルランド／イングランド出身の敏腕ミュージシャンたちにより結成されたオール・インストルメンタル・バンド。
95年の結成当初には、あのマイケル・マクゴールドリックが在籍していた事でも知られる。北アイルランドのアーマー州出身、ソロアルバムも高い評価を受け、アップ・ステアーズ・イン・ア・テントの初代メンバーとしても知られるフルート奏者、ブライアン・フィネガン。ロンドン出身で、80年代後半イングランドのトラッド・シーンを荒しまくったベアリー・ワークスのフロント・ガール、セーラ・アレン（アコーディオンも演奏）。それに、ボシー・バンド直系のパワフルな演奏を聞かせ、多くのアイリッシュ・ミュージシャンとの共演で知られるギターのエド・ボイド（バース出身）。そしてアイリッシュ・ミュージック・マガジン誌が「おそらく世界で一番ボーランがうまい」と大絶賛し、まだ20代の前半ながらすでにビックなアーティストとの共演経験が豊富なプレイヤー、ジョン・ジョー・ケリー（マンチェスター出身）。
この４人のミュージシャンが結集し、今までになかったまったく新しい形のアイリッシュ・ミュージックを聞かせる。スリリングで、熱気あふれる各メンバーの演奏と、年間おどろくほどの数のライブをこなす無敵のアンサンブルで、各地のフェスティバルでもひっぱりだこの彼等。
