2. Jigs - Live
Tracks 2, 5, 6 Popular tracks from the band's
concerts during 2000 and 2001,
recorded live at Chapel Recording Studios - Lincolnshire
on 5th & 6th January 2002 especially for this album.
Due to the absence of Joanne (on holiday in New
Zealand!),
Dave overdubbed the keyboard parts - but the
performances certainly retain the immediacy of the band's live sound.

& Sequencer
Programming
Troy Donockley - Uilleann Pipes & Low Whistles
Frank van Essen - Drums, Percussion & Violin
Phil Barker - Bass Guitar

ON AIR WEST
3. Heathquake
A live favourite with Troy's previous band You
Slosh, revamped as an Iona encore track.
The only other recorded version is on You Slosh's
1989 live album 'Glorious Racket'.
This album is currently deleted, but is planned
for re-release in the near future.
4. Castlerigg / Extended Reels
The live version of this track from the 'Open
Sky' album, which concludes with the band's most recent extended arrangement
of reels.
5. I Will Give My Love An Apple
A studio recording of this traditional English
folk song which Joanne has sung since about the age of 12.
This was originally recorded for the Classic
Rock Society's limited edition 'Unprogged' compilation album at;
Soundfield Studio (Derbyshire) early in 1996.
A live version appears on IONA's 'Heaven's Bright
Sun' album.
Joanne Hogg - vocals
Troy Donockley - Bouzouki, E-bow guitars, Low
whistle
Dave Bainbridge - Keyboards, acoustic guitar
Recorded and Mixed by Neil Costello
6. Song Of The Waves
Recorded at; The Snooker Room (Ireland) and Chapel
Studios (Lincolnshire)

poem attributed to Columba.
Joanne Hogg - Spoken vocal, Latin voices &
Piano
Frank van Essen - Violins
Dave Bainbridge - Synthesiser
Phil Barker - Fretless Bass
Original sessions engineered by Nigel Palmer
